Midnight Ultras

Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

The short version: the Midnight Ultras app has no accounts and no ads, and it doesn't track you. What you set up stays on your phone. The only thing we collect is a few anonymous counts, which you can switch off.

What the app keeps on your phone

This stays on your device. We don't receive it. Deleting the app deletes it.

What leaves your phone

Anonymous usage counts

To find out whether people use the app and where it breaks, the app sends our server small reports such as "an alarm was set" or "the app opened". Each report carries:

The reports never include your name, the teams or competitions you follow, your alarms' details, your location or your contacts. You can turn this off at any time in the app under Profile → About → Share anonymous usage. We keep these counts only for as long as we need them to improve the app.

Notifications and alarms

Alarms and reminders are scheduled on your phone and delivered by your phone. On iPhones with iOS 26 or later the app uses Apple's alarm feature, which can ring even when your phone is on Silent or in a Focus mode, and asks your permission first. We don't send push notifications from a server. You can turn alarms and notifications off at any time in your phone's Settings, but the app's alarms won't work without them.

What we don't do

Children

The app isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we add accounts or a league, or change what we collect, we'll update this page and the app first, and explain what changes.
